Byzantine Chant in English - Vol. I

We are pleased to present our first recording of Byzantine music in English. This audio CD contains selections from our "Divine Liturgies Music Project" chanted by three Athonite monks of our monastery.

This first CD in a projected series of five has music for the doxology, the typica, trisagion hymns, and several other hymns. Included with the CD is a booklet containing the text for all the hymns.

This audio CD also contains all the sheet music in both Byzantine and Western notation that we used for this recording. The sheet music is included on the CD as PDF files that can be viewed and printed with a Macintosh or Windows computer.
