Passages Through Paradise (DVD)

The Holy Mountain or Athos is a peninsula in northern Greece which has been the major center of Orthodox monasticism for over a thousand years. This unique documentary video features the renovation of St. Andrew’s skete in Karies, the capital of the Holy Mountain. It also shows other monasteries, sketes, and an ascent to the peak of Mount Athos. Winner of Best Documentary Award at Moscow’s Golden Knight International Film Festival 2000.
